About
Your pets are cherished members of your family, and leaving them behind when you travel can be stressful. At Wigglebottoms, we strive to care for your furry loved ones the same way you do: with compassion, love, patience, and respect, so you can focus on the purpose of your trip, whether to work or just relax, without worry.
We are keenly aware that no two pets are the same. Along with their unique personalities, our pets come with their own backstories, special needs, and funny little quirks. Together with you, we’ll customize a care plan for each of your furry, feathered or scaly family members, maintaining their routine in their home environment, where they will be most comfortable. We ask a lot of questions, because the details matter.
We believe superior quality pet care doesn't end with meeting your pet's basic physical needs, but really begins with their emotional well-being. We'll get to know who needs a little sweet talkin' at meal time, which treats drive them bananas, who prefers playtime over snuggles, the sounds bound to bring your pets out of hiding (and which will send them scurrying), who loves tummy rubs and whose bellies are strictly off-limits. We've been asked to hold pets like a baby and slow dance in the kitchen, turn on bathroom faucets for cool drinks, take cats on leashed walks, and hand feed finicky pups… and of course, we have obliged. With time, we hope you'll consider Wigglebottoms an extension of your pet's family, as they'll certainly be part of ours.
We’re not just another West Seattle pet sitter. We’re honored to be your trusted pet care partner. Get in touch soon, because we can’t wait to meet your whole family!
Wigglebottoms was established in 2018 by Aubbie Beal, who lives in West Seattle’s Highland Park neighborhood with her dog Mavis, her cats Grace and Bowie, and an ever-changing cast of foster animals. Over the years she has fostered three species across all life stages—from newborns to seniors—including special-needs, medical recovery, and hospice cases. She has also volunteered with Mavis as part of a therapy-animal visiting program, and supported the rescue network by transporting animals and supplies between shelters, foster homes, and veterinary appointments. Two very important cats, Boo and Gilbert, are still very much part of her story and continue to shape the way she approaches caring for other people’s pets.
